Last one for the year

Hello, out there. This my last blog for the year (and, indeed, my last blog at Enrich@ILT). Yes, you say. I'm a year 5 and people finish Enrich@ILT when they're a year 6! Well, my Dad got a job in Gore and part of the contract was that we had to move to Gore. So we've bought a house and yeah. Where moving at the end of the school year.

Last blog at Enrich@ILT

Aim.....FIRE!!!!!!!!!

Today at Enrich@ILT, I went to Paul's Engineering session. We made Cork Launchers, however we used small cubes of wood instead. I made five cubes, each with a special traffic light coloured theme. I also made three popsicle stick missiles,  sticks taped together - green and red on the outside with yellow in the middle.

Today after Morning Tea...

Today after Morning Tea, and before blogging, I went to Paul's Engineering session. We made slingshot rockets, and my one was the worst. So I changed my one to a plane. And it was STILL the worst, landing only a foot away from me.

Next time,

Daniel

Ginny & Jenni.

Hello.

Today we met our new teacher who is taking over from Nicola.  Her name is Ginny, not to be confused with Jenni. At discovery with Paul, I learned all about decimals and prime numbers. We had to fill in a paper number chart. We had to circle all the prime numbers and we crossed out all the other numbers.

Until next time...

My Goal For Term

Shortest blog ever. My goal for this term is: to accomplish any task I set out to do.

Discovery, discovery, discovery!!

Hello, my little blog readers, who fry their brains by reading the blogs on this page (and many other pages, I'm sure). If you like disgusting things, I'm pretty sure that there's a blog on dissecting a pig eye, or something. But enough of that, time for my day.

Discovery, discovery, discovery!! Today, and indeed most of my spare time as well, is all about the finishing touches of our "Discovering Your Past" presentations. I don't think that the people with poster boards are going to get very far, as they've just stared their main presentations this week (I think), unless they take them home. And on a day like today, it's going to be a mission to get the poster board out of the building and to the car without getting them wet!!

But I am not using a poster board (thank heaven). I am using Microsoft PowerPoint and (fingers crossed) I'm hopefully the only one using it!!

Now, you are VERY NAUGHTY reading my blog and wasting your precious learning time.

Yours truly,

Daniel.

What?!! Your still here?!! I SAID GO AWAY!!!!!

PIcasso

Picasso, Picasso, Picasso!! Today after lunch, I went of to strength-based extension. I finished my Picasso head of Max. Plus, I finished first! The part that I found the hardest was thinking up the patterns to put on my face. Next week, the artist  we are going to look at is... Wassily Kandinsky... I'll fill you in next week (if I have time...)
